Ayushman Hospital & College

Over in Sector C of Shahapura, you’ll find Ayushman Hospital & College. It’s an interesting place to work because we have the hospital side and the college side all in one area. You’ll see a lot of students in their white coats walking around, learning the ropes and shadowing the senior doctors. It makes the building feel very busy and full of energy. The hospital part handles the patients coming in from around Shahapura with all kinds of ailments. We have classrooms on the upper floors and wards on the lower ones. Sometimes the students get in the way a bit when they're in large groups, but they’re eager to help out. The facilities are practical and built for teaching as much as for treating. We have a cafeteria that stays pretty crowded during lunch hours with both staff and students. It’s a large campus compared to a small clinic, so there’s always something going on, whether it’s an exam or a new intake of patients. We don't have a glossy brochure or a polished reception area like the big private chains in the city. It’s a learning environment through and through. The floors are a bit worn from all the walking, but we keep everything sanitary. We’re just a community of people learning and working in the health field here in Sector C. It’s a long day for everyone.
