Ahsin Denim Jeans

Ahsin Denim Jeans is our little spot over in Ashoka Vihar. If you walk through this area, you’ll probably hear the sewing machines before you see us. We spend most of the day surrounded by rolls of denim and blue threads everywhere. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how a clothing workshop is. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work with what we have. Ashoka Vihar is a decent place to be based out of, though parking can be a bit of a headache on some days. We usually start quite early when the air is still a bit cool. By afternoon, the place is full of finished jeans and scraps on the floor. It’s just a few of us working together, talking over the noise of the needles. We don't really have a big sign or anything flashy out front. Most people in the neighborhood just know us as the place where the denim gets handled. Sometimes we have tea breaks outside on the step just to get some fresh air. It’s a simple routine we’ve got going. We don’t try to be anything we’re not, just a local business making clothes. The work is repetitive, but there is something nice about seeing a stack of finished jeans at the end of a long Tuesday. That's pretty much life here in the workshop.
