Artistic Works

Out here on Airport Road Bhopal, things move pretty fast with all the cars heading toward the terminal. Artistic Works is my little corner where things go a bit slower. I have been at this location for some time, and people usually find me because of the stuff sitting out front. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where there is always some dust on the floor and the smell of paint or glue in the air. I spend my hours working on whatever project is on the table, sometimes staying late into the evening when the streetlights on Airport Road come on. The walls are covered in bits of material and sketches that didn't quite work out. I don't have a big sign with lights, just a simple one so people know they have reached the right place. Bhopal can get quite warm, so I usually leave the front door open to get a bit of a breeze, even if it means some of the noise from the traffic comes inside with it. I handle most of the things myself, from talking to the people who walk in to finishing the actual pieces. It’s a lot of manual work and my hands are rarely clean by the end of the day. People stop by because they saw the name or someone told them I was located near the airport stretch. It’s a good enough spot for what I do.
