Apace Exim Private Limited is located out in the F-69 Industrial Area in Bagroda, which is near Misrod. It’s part of the AKVN zone, so there are big factories and warehouses all around us. Being in an industrial area means it’s not the prettiest place to work, but it is very practical for what we do every day. We handle export and import tasks, which means we are always dealing with big containers and a mountain of customs paperwork. The noise from the neighboring manufacturing plants is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. Our office is just a converted section of the main warehouse. We have some basic desks and a very old coffee machine that barely works anymore. Most of the day is spent tracking shipments or talking to the logistics people on the radio or phone. It’s a bit of a long drive to get out here from the main part of the city, but it's where the actual work happens. We started this company to help move goods across the borders, and it’s been a steep learning curve with all the changing regulations. We don't have a big marketing team or a sales department; we just rely on the work we do. Sometimes the dust from the industrial roads gets everywhere, so we are always wiping down our computer screens and desks.
