Gayatri Hospital And Trauma Centre is located out at 8, Bijli Nagar, right on the Bhopal Bypass Road. Because of where we are situated, we see a lot of people who have been in accidents on the highway. It is not a quiet or peaceful place most of the time. The emergency room is often busy and the nurses are usually moving fast between beds. We are not one of those luxury hospitals that looks like a five-star hotel. This is a practical building meant for treating people who are sick or hurt. We have doctors who stay on call and a staff that tries their best even when the waiting room is completely full of worried families. The smell of floor cleaner is pretty much everywhere, which is to be expected. We have been at this Bijli Nagar spot for a while now and the locals know to come here when something goes wrong. We do not have a marketing department writing fancy brochures for us. We just keep the doors open twenty-four hours a day because you never know when someone is going to need a doctor. It can be a stressful environment, and sometimes the machines beep too loudly, but we just get on with the job of looking after patients. It is hard work, but it is necessary for this part of Bhopal. We are just a local hospital doing what we can.
