We are located at 29 Hamidia Road. If you know this part of town, you know it stays busy from morning until late at night. Amk Pharmaceutical Private Limited has been based here for some time now. The building is older, like most things on this street, and it has that specific smell of old paper and dust. There’s always someone shouting outside or a rickshaw honking right under the window. It makes for a loud work environment, but we’ve gotten used to it. We spend most of our mornings checking the inventory and talking to suppliers. The space inside is a bit cramped with all the shelves we’ve put up over the years. We keep the lights on even during the day because the building next door blocks most of the sun. It's not a place where you'd find modern decor or anything like that. We have wooden desks and old fans that click when they’re on the high setting. Hamidia Road is a hub for a lot of businesses, so we see the same faces every day. We usually get our tea from the stall across the street. The stairs are narrow, so moving heavy crates up and down takes a bit of effort. It’s just how things are done here. We focus on getting the work finished so we can beat the evening rush home. It's a crowded spot, but it's where we work.
