Balaji Daily Meeds

Balaji Daily Meeds is right on Airport Road. It’s a busy spot because of all the cars and bikes heading towards the terminal. We open early because that’s when people need their daily stuff. You can hear the planes taking off if it’s a quiet moment, but those are rare. We stock all the usual things people run out of at home. The shelves are a bit crowded, and sometimes we have to move boxes around to find what someone is looking for. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We know a lot of the commuters who stop by on their way to work. The floor is made of old tile, and we try to sweep it twice a day. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us taking turns behind the counter. Airport Road is always growing, so we see a lot of new faces lately. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just try to make sure we have what people ask for. Sometimes we run out of certain items before the next delivery comes, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop. We spend most of the day chatting with locals and stocking the racks. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We just do our work here and try to keep things moving along.
