Adeeba General Stores

I run Adeeba General Stores at Shop 106/18 on the Main Road in Kotra Sultanabad, Bhopal 462003. We are right near the Goverment Quarters, so a lot of our regulars are people who work for the government and live nearby. It’s a fairly quiet area compared to the city center, which I quite like. The shop has been here for a while, and we’ve become a bit of a landmark for the people living in the quarters. We stock everything from stationery and toiletries to basic food items. It’s a steady job, and I enjoy the rhythm of it. Every morning, I open the shutters and see the same people walking to their offices. We often have a bit of a rush in the evening when everyone is heading home and remembers they need milk or bread. The shop is my second home, really. I know where every single item is kept, even if the shelves look a bit cluttered to someone else. We don't really do any marketing or anything like that. People just know we are here on the Main Road if they need something. Sometimes the weather in Bhopal is lovely, and I just sit on the stool outside for a bit while waiting for the next customer. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and I’m happy to keep serving the folks around Kotra Sultanabad for as long as I can.
