Purna Kelna Producer Company Ltd.

Baranjala is where we are based, specifically in the Bhokar taluka. Purna Kelna is a producer company that we started to help organize the local agricultural work. We use a small building in the village as our main base. It’s got a big front door where we load and unload things. Inside, it is mostly just open space with a few desks shoved against the wall. We spend our time figuring out the best ways to get the produce to market and making sure everyone gets a fair deal. It is not always easy and there are plenty of arguments about the best way to do things. That is just part of working with a lot of different people. The village of Baranjala is a tight-knit community, so everyone knows what is going on at the company. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech systems, we mostly use notebooks and a couple of old mobile phones. The dust from the fields blows in through the windows when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We usually have a pot of tea on the go for anyone who stops by to chat. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. We are just trying to keep the farming business moving forward for everyone in the taluka. Most days we are just happy to get the work done before it gets dark.
