Our small business is over in the Dharhara area of Arrah. We are set up at Vinay Singh’s place, which is pretty easy to find if you know where the MOM factory is. We don't have a big sign or anything like that, so you just have to look for the building near the factory. Being involved with agro foods means we are always around grain and sacks. It gets a bit dusty in the peak season, but that's just part of the job. Arrah is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. We started Shivamsatyam Agro Foods Private Limited because there was a need for someone to handle the local produce. We aren't fancy people. Most of us have worked in the fields ourselves. We know what it’s like to worry about the weather or the transport. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just talk to the farmers and the buyers directly. Some days we are just sitting on the porch talking about the market. It’s a practical life. We focus on getting the food from the farm to where it needs to go without too much fuss. Being near the factory is handy for a lot of reasons. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving. It’s our local spot and we like it that way. No big city fancy talk here.
