Shining People Foundation

Our foundation is located at Kalawati Kutir. We are on Jail Road, right near Shumeshwar Asthan and not too far from the Sainik School in Buxar. It’s a familiar spot for most people living around here. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a group of people working out of this house. We started this because we wanted to do something for the town. We don't have fancy titles or a big board of directors. It’s just us doing the work every day. Buxar is a good place, and we try to be a helpful part of it. Most of our time is spent on small, local tasks. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. If you want to know what we are doing, you just have to come by and ask. We have chairs on the porch where we sit and talk through things. It’s very informal. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized, but we always manage to get the job done eventually. We’ve been on Jail Road for a while now. The neighbors know us and we know them. It’s a simple way to run a foundation, but it works for us. We don't want to be anywhere else. We just keep plugging away at it, one day at a time. The walk from the school isn't too long if you’re coming from that direction. There’s usually someone around to talk to. We like to keep it that way.
