Sana Drinks

Setting up Sana Drinks in Buxar was something we thought about for a long time before actually doing it. We are located right in Vijay Ward, number two, very close to Sikharam Gali. If you know the area, you know it gets incredibly hot during the summer months. That is when we are the busiest. People walking by are always looking for something to drink to cool off. The shop isn't very large, but we pack it with as much as we can. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter. Sometimes our cousins come by to help when the crowd gets too big. Buxar is a place where everyone has an opinion on everything, so there is always a conversation happening near the entrance. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just the name and the bottles. The floor is concrete and we wash it down every evening to keep the dust away. Dealing with suppliers can be a headache sometimes because the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around Sikharam Gali, but we manage. We’ve had this spot for a few years now and the locals seem to like having us here. It’s just a regular drink shop. We don’t try to be anything else. We just open the shutters, serve the people, and close up when the day is done. It’s honest work and it keeps us going in the district.
