Lakshya Academy

Lakshya Academy is located right across the street from the Urdu Primary School in Pakri. It is a convenient spot for us because there are always students around the area. We are not a big school with a massive campus, just a local place where kids come to get some extra help with their studies. The rooms are basic, with enough chairs and desks for everyone to sit and concentrate on their books. We focus on the subjects that seem to give students the most trouble, like math or science. It is common to see a group of us huddled around a chalkboard trying to solve a problem that has everyone stumped. We don't use any fancy teaching gadgets; it is mostly just reading, writing, and practicing until the lesson sinks in. The noise from the street sometimes drifts in, but the students are used to it by now. We try to keep things relaxed so nobody feels too much pressure, though we do expect them to put in the effort. It is rewarding to see someone finally understand a concept they have been struggling with for weeks. We stay open late most days because that is when most of the older students can make it over. We just want to help the local kids do a bit better in their exams and feel more confident about what they are learning in their regular classes. This place has been around for a few years now and we've gotten to know the families around Pakri quite well.
