Laxmi Cement

We are located right in Babura Village, not too far from the Abdul Bari Pul. It is a quiet area mostly, but being near the bridge means we get a fair amount of traffic passing through. Cement is what we handle every day, and if you have ever worked with it, you know it gets everywhere. Our clothes are usually covered in that grey powder, and the floor of the storage area is always dusty. We spend a lot of our time stacking bags and then unstacking them when a customer arrives. It is a lot of heavy lifting, but it keeps us moving. We are right by the post office area, so we see the local villagers going about their business every day. Sometimes they stop in just to chat or ask about the price of a few bags for a small repair at home. We don't have any fancy computers or a big office setup; it is just a simple desk and a ledger to keep track of who owes what. The life here in the village is straightforward. We wait for the big trucks to arrive with the new stock and then we work hard to get it all stored away before it starts to rain. Being near the Abdul Bari Pul makes it easy for people to find us, which is helpful. We just do our work and go home tired.
