Karush Micro Foundation

Karush Micro Foundation is located in Buxar, specifically in a village called Sapahi. We are at the residence of Chandra Shekhar Pandey. Our post office is Nimez and the police station is Brahmpur. The zip code here is 802118. It’s quite a way out, and the roads can be a bit rough depending on the time of year. We’re a small foundation and we don’t have much in the way of fancy equipment. We just have a desk, some chairs, and a lot of determination to get through the daily work. Being in Bairia, Buxar means we are right in the middle of the community we serve. People around Sapahi know Chandra Shekhar, so it was a natural place to set up our base. We deal with micro-finance tasks and helping people with small bits of business. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we don’t do much advertising. People mostly hear about us from their family or friends in the nearby villages. We spend our mornings getting the paperwork in order and our afternoons talking to people who come by. It’s a practical, local operation. Sometimes the heat is a bit much, but we have a few fans to keep things comfortable enough. We’re just a small group of people working out of a village house.
