Hotel Southern

If you find yourself in Buxar, we are over at Shoonya Ashram in Kazi Gali. Hotel Southern has been part of this area in Bihar for a while. It is a simple place, nothing too extravagant. We mostly see people coming through for work or visiting the local sites around town. The street, Kazi Gali, can be quite narrow and busy during the day, typical for this part of the city. We have rooms for guests and we try to keep things clean and functional. It’s not a five-star resort, just a basic hotel where you can put your head down. I spend most of my time at the front or checking on the rooms to make sure everything is okay. The Ashram nearby gives the area a bit of a specific feel. Buxar is an old place with a lot of history, and we are just a small part of the current landscape. We don't have a massive staff, just a few of us making sure the doors are open and people have what they need. Sometimes the power goes out or things get a bit dusty because of the road, but we deal with it as it comes. It’s an honest living. We see a lot of different faces every week. Most people just want a quiet spot and a bit of rest before they move on to their next stop in Bihar. We don't have many fancy things, just the basics and a place to sleep.
