Gyaan Aur Ujala Foundation

We are located at House No 201 in Krishnanagar, which is in Arrah. You can find us at Sri Birendra Singh’s house. It is a regular family home but we use part of it for our foundation work. We are a small group of people who think that education and a little bit of help can go a long way. Arrah is a place where a lot of people are just trying to get by. We don't have a lot of money or any big donors. We just use what we have to help the kids in the neighborhood with their studies. Sometimes we have a few extra books to give out or we help someone learn to read. It is very informal and we don't have set hours most of the time. If the lights are on someone is probably there to help. We don't use a lot of fancy words or try to act like we are better than anyone else. We are just neighbors. The room we use is a bit crowded with books and papers and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit. We don't mind the clutter though. It shows we are doing something. We aren't a big polished organization. We are just a few people in Krishnanagar trying to bring a little bit of light into the lives of those around us. It is simple work and we are happy to do it right here at home.
