Foundation School

Our school sits on Itarhi Road in Buxar. It’s a straightforward kind of place where things happen in a routine way every single day. We open the gates early in the morning, and you can see the students walking down the road from the nearby neighborhoods. The building isn't very large, so everyone pretty much knows each other’s names. We have classrooms set up with basic furniture, and the walls have some charts and drawings made by the students over the years. Buxar can get quite hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can. There is a small area where the kids play during their free time, mostly just running around or playing tag. The teachers here are local people who have been around for a while. They spend a lot of time sitting at their desks checking notebooks or talking to parents who stop by after work. It’s not a complicated operation. We just focus on getting through the books and making sure the kids are where they are supposed to be. Sometimes we have a little program or a celebration, but mostly it's just regular classes from Monday to Saturday. The road outside can get a bit dusty with the trucks passing by, but inside the gate, it’s just our daily school life. It is an honest place for the community here in this part of town.
