Our little office is over in Bhiwani, specifically in the Nunari Wali area. You’ll find us care of Ishwar Singh’s place. It’s a quiet part of the district, which suits us just fine. Being a Nidhi company in a place like this means you really get to know everyone who walks through the door. We aren't trying to be some giant financial corporation. We just provide a place for people in the 127309 area to keep their savings. It started out quite small and it’s stayed that way, which makes it easier to manage. Usually, it's just a couple of us sitting around the table handling the entries. People come in after work or when they’re heading to the market. We talk about the crops or the weather as much as we talk about money. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and a sturdy desk, but it gets the job done. We think it’s important for local folks to have a spot where they don't feel intimidated by fancy surroundings. You don't need a suit to come talk to us. Most of our members have been with us for a long time. They trust us because we’re part of the same community in Bhiwani. We keep our books clear and our doors open during the day. It’s practical work. We just want to help our neighbors manage their bits of gold or cash without any fuss or complicated forms.
