S. R. & Sons

Our family has been running S. R. & Sons here on Sarkular Road for quite a long time now. We are located right by Vinod Gate in the Bhiwani district. It is a spot that is pretty easy for people to find once they know where the gate is. My grandfather was the one who started this business and then my father took it over, and now I am here working with my brothers. The shop is filled with all sorts of different items that we have collected over the many years we have been open. It is a bit cramped and messy inside because we never really like to throw anything away that might be useful for someone later on. We spend our days dealing with customers who come in from all over the Bhiwani district. Some of these people have been buying things from us since my father was just a young man. We do not have a big marketing plan or anything fancy like that. We just open up the doors every morning and see who comes by. Sarkular Road is usually very busy with rickshaws and people walking to the local market. We take turns handling the front counter and going out to do deliveries. The building is quite old and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it feels like home to us. We still handle our accounts in a big ledger book by hand because that is what we know.
