Oberoi Hotels

Out here in the Bhiwani district, things move at a bit of a different pace than in the big cities. We’re part of the Oberoi group, but this specific spot in Haryana feels a bit more grounded. We spend our days making sure the rooms are tidy and the guests have what they need. It’s a lot of walking back and forth, checking the laundry, and seeing if the kitchen has enough supplies. The building has its own quirks, like a door that sticks sometimes or a light that flickers, but we take care of it as we go. We don't have those big fancy meetings you see on TV; we just chat in the hallway or near the front desk about what needs doing. The staff here is mostly local folks who know the area well. We’ve been here for a bit and we’ve seen the seasons change from really hot to chilly winters. It’s a quiet life mostly, just focusing on the daily chores and making sure people have a comfortable place to sleep. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If someone needs extra blankets or a glass of water, we just get it for them. It’s about being practical and keeping the place running smooth. We like the view in the evenings when the sun starts to go down over the Haryana plains. It makes all the hard work feel worth it at the end of the shift.
