Laxmi Trading Company

Our shop is number 393 in the City Center. We are right opposite the Vatika Bar, which is how most people find us. It’s a busy part of the building with a lot of foot traffic. We do trading, which means a lot of buying and selling different items throughout the week. The space is a bit cramped because we have boxes and crates piled up almost to the ceiling. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The hallway outside is always full of people walking to the other shops nearby. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and our pens. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t have a website or any of that modern stuff. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years. We know most of them by their names. Sometimes we sit outside on a small wooden stool when it’s quiet just to watch the crowd go by. The noise from the bar across the way really picks up in the evening. We usually close up and head home before it gets too late. Our stock changes every week depending on what’s available from the suppliers. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. My brother and I run the place mostly. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything. We just wear what's comfortable for a long day of work. It’s a solid little business in a busy corner of the city. We just keep our heads down and work.
