We handle the ready-mix concrete side of the business here. It can be a bit of a noisy operation with the trucks coming and going, but that is just how concrete works. We spend most of our time outside in the yard making sure the mixes are just right before the trucks head out to the sites. Being so close to a school means we have to be really careful with the truck traffic during certain hours of the morning and afternoon. It keeps us on our toes. We do not have any glossy brochures to show people. We just show up, do the hard work, and try to keep the machinery running without too many breakdowns. Some days are very long, especially when there is a big pour happening nearby and we have to keep things moving. We just deal with the heat and the dust like everyone else.
