Being out here in VPO Talu, things move at a different pace than the big cities. We are part of the Group Company Of Reliance Retail Ltd but our daily life is very much about the Bhiwani district. The office is right here in the village and you can see the fields from the window. We handle a lot of the local logistics and making sure things are moving where they need to go in Haryana. It is a lot of checking lists and talking to drivers who are trying to find the place. The 127041 pin code is home for us. Sometimes the internet is slow so we have to do things the old way with pens and logbooks. It’s not a polished setup with fancy carpets. We wear dusty boots because that is just how the road is outside. People in the village know us as the place that handles the retail stock stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the main hubs. It’s a lot of responsibility but we just take it one hour at a time. The tea here is always strong and the conversations are mostly about the weather or the truck arrivals. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just show up and do the work that needs doing every single day. It might not look like much from the outside but there is always plenty to do to keep things running.
