Dadri Super Market

We've been here on Loharu Road in Charkhi Dadri for a good while now. The shop sits right across from Lakra Hospital, so we see all sorts of folks coming through the doors every day. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is out getting their groceries. We keep the shelves stocked with the usual stuff people need for their kitchens and homes. It’s a lot of work making sure things are in order, and sometimes the boxes pile up in the back more than I’d like. My family helps out with the lifting and the counting. Siwani is a small enough place where you start to recognize faces after a few months. People stop in for milk or flour and stay to talk about the weather or the traffic on the main road. It isn’t a fancy place with bright lights and music, just a regular supermarket where we try to have what you're looking for. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We spend most of our day behind the counter or moving crates around. It’s honest work and keeps us on our feet. The sign outside has seen better days, but everyone knows where we are at number 966. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, making sure the locals have a place to grab their essentials without having to travel too far across town.
