Creative Action For Rural Development Foundation

Out here in VPO Behal in Bhiwani, things move a bit differently than in the big cities. We are the Creative Action For Rural Development Foundation. Our office is located where Anil Kumar, who is Mahabir Singh’s son, has his place. It’s a local setup in Haryana, 127028. We spend a lot of our time thinking about rural development and how to make things work better in the villages around us. It isn't always easy. We walk around the area, talk to people, and see what needs doing. Creative action sounds like a big term, but for us, it’s just finding ways to solve everyday problems. Maybe it’s a water issue or something with the farming. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It's more of a community feel here. Neighbors come by and we talk over tea. Sometimes we sit outside if the weather is nice. Being in Bhiwani means we know the people and the land. We’ve been part of this village for a long time. The work is mostly about helping out where we can. We use what we have available. It’s honest work. Every day is a bit different depending on who needs help or what project we are looking at. We don't use fancy jargon, just plain talk about getting things done in the rural parts of Haryana. It is a quiet life but the work is steady and keeps us very occupied.
