Chetna Hospital

Chetna Hospital is located right by the bus stand in the Main Bazaar over in Tosham. You can probably imagine how loud it gets with the buses pulling in and out at all hours of the day. The dust from the road is a constant battle for us. We clean the windows every morning but by noon they are covered in a thin layer of grime again. It’s just life in the bazaar. There are stalls selling all kinds of things right outside our door. Sometimes the smell of fried snacks drifts inside and makes everyone in the office hungry. The building itself is older and has a few cracks in the plaster here and there. We don't worry about them too much. People from the villages nearby often come in right after they get off the bus. They are usually exhausted and just want someone to help them out quickly. We do what we can with the space we have. It’s not like those shiny hospitals you see in the big cities. We know a lot of the people who come in by their names. Tosham is a busy little place and the bazaar never really settles down until very late at night. Even then, you can still hear the trucks. We keep the lights on and just keep moving through our tasks. My tea always ends up getting cold before I can finish it.
