Shree Siddhivinayak Textiles

We are over at Bhavik House on the first floor. It is part of the Ajanta Compound which is right by Dhamankar Naka on the Old Agra Road. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time because the entrance to the compound is usually crowded with parked bikes and delivery vans. We deal in textiles, so there are always rolls of cloth and piles of fabric sitting around the place. It gets a bit dusty and the smell of raw cotton is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a big fancy showroom with bright lights and air conditioning. It is mostly just a workspace where we get orders ready and check the quality of the material coming in from the factories. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, and we are always carrying something up or down. Most of our days are spent talking to local tailors or people looking for specific types of cloth for their projects. We’ve been here quite a while now, and we know the other guys in the compound pretty well. Sometimes we go downstairs for tea when it's not too busy. The traffic on Old Agra Road is usually a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get our big deliveries done early in the morning. It is a simple life and a simple business, but it keeps us on our feet.
