Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd.

We are set up out at Unit No. A-06 along the Mumbai Nashik Highway. It’s in the Vashere village area of Bhwandi. Being out here by the highway means there is always a lot of dust and the sound of trucks zooming past. It’s an industrial vibe, which suits the kind of chemical work we do. The unit isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can store and manage our products. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure everything is labeled right. Since we’re a bit far from the main city, we mostly rely on our own transport or the local buses to get here. The weather can get really hot in the summer, making the metal roof of the unit quite warm, but we’re used to it by now. We have a small team here, and we all know each other’s habits. We don’t go in for big meetings or anything like that; we just talk over what needs doing while we’re working. Most of our day is spent coordinating with drivers and making sure the loads are ready for the highway. It’s hard work and the hours can be long sometimes, especially when a shipment is late. But it’s what we do. We’ve been in Bhwandi for a while and it feels like home now, despite all the noise from the traffic outside. It's just a regular warehouse life.
