Shivam Export

Our warehouse and office are at G-1/141 in the Riico Industrial Area, right on Road No. 5. This part of the city is always full of trucks and the smell of diesel. Shivam Export handles a lot of different goods that are heading out to other places. Most of our day involves checking manifests and making sure the packing is done right. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of tape, cardboard, and wooden pallets involved. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main warehouse floor. It gets pretty noisy when the machines are running or when a truck is backing into the bay. We have to be careful with the paperwork because even a small mistake can cause a big delay at the port. We’ve been in this industrial area for several years now. We know the other business owners on Road No. 5, and we sometimes help each other out when someone is short on packing materials. The sun beats down on the corrugated roof in the afternoons, making it quite warm inside. We just keep the water cooler filled and keep working. It’s a steady rhythm of shipping and receiving. We don't have a big marketing team; we just focus on getting the crates loaded and sent off on time. That’s what keeps us going day after day in this dusty industrial zone.
