We’re based out in the RIICO Industrial Area at plot E-800. It’s a big space because we need the room for all the window frames and door sections we keep here. Most days the floor is covered in sawdust or little bits of metal, depending on what we're putting together. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we’re used to the noise. We’ve got a small crew that knows how to handle the tools. We aren't some massive corporation with people in suits; it's mostly just us in our work clothes making sure the measurements are right. If a measurement is off by even a little bit, the whole thing doesn't fit, so we spend a lot of time double-checking stuff. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the morning. We’ve got a lot of stock piled up right now. Sometimes people call and ask for things we don't have, and we just tell them straight. No point in lying about it. We get a lot of trucks coming in for pickups. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks up. It works for us. We just focus on getting the doors and windows out the door so people can get their houses finished. It’s honest work and we stay busy enough with the daily grind. We just keep doing what we know how to do until the day is over.
