Down at Plot No F-686 in the Chopanki Industrial Estate, you’ll find our building. We’re Reynders Label Printing, and we basically live and breathe labels every day. The estate can be a bit dusty and loud with all the other factories around, but inside our walls, we’re focused on the printing side of things. It’s a big space because the printing machines take up a lot of room and we need places to store all the paper and rolls. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People who come here are usually looking for someone to print their packaging or stickers, so they care more about the machines than the office decor. The coffee in the breakroom is okay, but we mostly just drink it to stay sharp when the night shifts get long. We’ve got a mix of older guys who’ve been doing this forever and some younger ones who are still learning how the presses behave. Every day is a bit different depending on what kind of job comes in. Sometimes the colors are tricky to get right, so we spend a lot of time adjusting the settings until it’s just okay. It’s a lot of manual work, moving pallets and checking rolls. It’s not a corporate office with a view; it’s a factory floor where we get our hands dirty and get the orders out. That’s just the way it is here in Chopanki for us every week.
