We’re located at 10A and 11A on Road No-20 in the RIICO industrial area. It’s a big space because we need room for all the precision equipment. Making eye care products is a bit different than other types of manufacturing. It has to be very controlled, so the air inside feels a bit different because of the special filtration we use. Most of us wear caps and special shoes so we don't bring in dust. It’s not the kind of place where you can just walk in off the street without a reason. The RIICO area itself is pretty dry and sandy most of the year, so keeping the inside spotless is a constant battle for the cleaning crew. We have a lot of technical people who spend their whole day looking at lenses or small parts. It can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen other factories come and go around us on Road No-20. Our building is just a plain gray structure, nothing that stands out much from the road. We don't do much in the way of advertising ourselves locally; we just focus on the task at hand. The workday starts early and ends when the shift is over. We don’t have much time for small talk when the machines are running, but we catch up during the breaks. It’s just a steady, quiet place.
