Ascent Auto Component

Our place is located at J 759 in the Riico Industrial Area. Being out here means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses, which suits us fine. Ascent Auto Component is mainly about making the small parts that keep vehicles moving. It’s a lot of machine work. The shop floor is usually humming with the sound of presses and lathes. We don't have a big front office; if you come by, you’ll probably find us near the machines. The air usually smells a bit like oil and cold metal. It’s a practical environment. We spend our shift making sure every component comes out the way it’s supposed to. It’s repetitive work sometimes, but it’s important. The Riico area is always busy with trucks loading and unloading, and we are part of that daily grind. We’ve been here long enough that we know the neighbors and the rhythm of the industrial park. We don't do much advertising; most people find us because they need specific auto components. We just focus on keeping the machines running and getting the orders filled. It is hard work, but it feels good to see the crates of finished parts ready to go at the end of the day. It’s just a normal shop doing its part in the auto industry. The guys take pride in making things that actually last on the road, even if the work is mostly hidden away in engines.
