Vidya Bhawan Secondary School

Out in Bhinmal, Jalore, you will find Vidya Bhawan Secondary School. It’s a quiet enough area, which is good for a school. We have a modest building that has seen many seasons. It’s not the most modern place, but we keep it in good repair as much as we can. The rooms are filled with the sound of kids talking and teachers trying to get their attention. We focus on the regular subjects like science and social studies. There’s no need to make things more complicated than they are. Our teachers are people from the community who have a lot of experience. They know how to handle a room full of energetic teenagers. We have a bit of space outside for the students to stretch their legs during the break. It’s nothing fancy, just a bit of open ground. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy photos. We’d rather spend it on some new books or fixing a broken window. Most people in Bhinmal know where we are and what we do. We have a reputation for just being a solid place for kids to get an education. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the weather is really hot, but we all just get on with it. We like to think we provide a stable environment for the students. It’s just a normal school doing its part in Jalore.
