Hinglaj Trading Company

Hinglaj Trading Company is tucked away in Pratap Colony, not too far from Nehru Park. It’s more of a residential-style neighborhood, so it stays a bit quieter than the main markets. Our office is basically a room where we keep our ledgers and handle the trading side of things. There is usually a motorbike or two parked outside. We spend most of our time coordinating where things need to go. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a small group of us making sure the trading orders are correct. The park nearby is a nice landmark when we are telling people how to find us. Usually, if you reach the park, you’re only a minute away. The office feels lived-in. There are calendars on the wall and stacks of papers on every flat surface. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for someone looking for us to know they are at the right place. Most of our work involves being on the phone for hours or writing out invoices. We've been in Pratap Colony for a good while. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always working late or moving boxes around. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just trade what needs trading and keep the records straight at the end of every day.
