We’ve been set up here in Shastri Nagar at number 10 for quite some time. It is a busy area in Bhilwara, which makes sense because there are so many textile businesses around. We mostly deal with the finishing side of the cotton fabric. It’s straightforward work but it takes up all of our day. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can fit the equipment and keep the rolls of cloth out of the dust. Sometimes the machines act up or the schedules get a bit tight when a big load comes in, but we just deal with it as it happens. We aren't a huge team, just a group of people who know how to handle the material. People around here know us as the place on the main sector road. It gets pretty loud when everything is running, so you can't really hear yourself think sometimes. We usually have tea together in the afternoons when there's a break in the work. It’s a regular routine that keeps the day moving along. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to log the shipments. Most of the time is spent on the floor checking the quality. It is hard work, especially when it gets hot in Rajasthan, but it is what we do. We try to stay organized so things don't get lost in the shuffle.
