Sharma Misthaan Bhandar

Our shop, Sharma Misthaan Bhandar, is right by Pathik Park in Bijolion. It’s a busy area because of the trees and the people walking their kids in the evening. We open up early to start the frying. The smell of ghee usually fills the air around the park by eight in the morning. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a family-run place. My brother handles the frying and I sit at the front. The counter is a bit old and has some scratches on the glass, but it works fine. We don't have any fancy menus or posters on the walls. Most people just point at what they want. In the afternoons, it gets a bit slow, so we sit on the benches outside and talk to the people coming from the park. We sell a lot of kachoris and samosas along with the sweets. The newspaper man usually stops by for his breakfast and tells us what’s happening in the town. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone wants to find us, they just ask for the sweet shop near Pathik Park. It’s a steady life. We don't make a lot of fuss about things. We just keep the stove going and make sure there’s enough for everyone who walks through the door. Usually, we close up once the park lights come on for the night and everything settles down.
