Sanskar Kids Academy

You can find us on the Asind Karera Road in Daulatgarh, which is part of the Bhilwara district. It is a bit of a drive out here, but it is where we have set up the school for the local children. The building is right on the main road, so you see the buses and tractors going past all day long. We have a few classrooms that we keep as clean as possible, though the dust from the road always finds its way in somehow. The kids come from the surrounding villages, and some of them walk quite a way to get here every morning. We do not have all the high-tech gadgets you might see in the city schools, but we have enough books and blackboards to get the job done. The playground is just a patch of open ground where they play during recess. It is a quiet life out here in Daulatgarh, and we like it that way. Most of the parents work in the fields or nearby shops, so they appreciate having a place where their kids can learn the basics. The teachers are mostly from the same area, so we all know each other. It is a small operation, but we stay busy with the classes and the local events. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep the school running smoothly for everyone who comes through our doors. It is a practical place.
