Our place is on the 1st floor of the Ambaji Textile Market, at unit 142. It’s right on Ajmer Road, which is always packed with trucks and people moving goods. Being in a textile market means there’s a constant energy around us. You can hear the sounds of other shops and the shouting of loaders downstairs all day long. Our space is filled with samples and fabrics, probably more than we have room for sometimes. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been operating from this market for quite a while, so we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of things. We aren’t trying to be some high-end luxury brand. We are just exporters who know our way around the textile trade. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking the quality of the items coming in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We have a small office tucked in the back where the paperwork happens, but most of the action is out on the floor. The market can get pretty hot in the summer, and the stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but we don’t mind. It’s a good location for what we do because everything is right there. We just keep things simple and focus on the daily grind without making any big fuss about ourselves.
