Natural Flagstones

Natural Flagstones is located at Pusa Niwas, right behind the Ashoka Hotel. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze to get back here, especially with the trucks, but we make it work. Our yard is full of different kinds of stone. We don't have a showroom with fancy lighting. You just walk around the piles of flagstones in the yard to see what we have. It’s often muddy if it’s been raining, so you have to watch your step. We spend most of our time out there moving slabs and loading them onto trailers. It’s heavy work and it’s rough on the back. We have a small shed that serves as our office. There’s an old desk, a computer that’s a bit slow, and a lot of stone dust on everything. We don't have a marketing person. Most people just see the stacks of stone from the street or hear about us from their builders. We don't try to talk anyone into buying anything. We just show them what we’ve got in stock and tell them the price. It’s a very simple way of doing business. We’ve been behind the hotel for a long time now, and we’ve seen the area change around us. But our yard stays the same. Just a lot of stone and a few of us working to get it moved. It’s practical, basic work and we’re fine with that.
