Patni Namkeen

Our shop is located right on Pur Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always a bit of dust and noise coming from the traffic. We don't mind it much anymore. We spend most of our hours in the back or behind the counter, dealing with the different types of namkeen we make. It’s a lot of work, especially when the weather gets hot, but we stay at it. People stop their bikes or cars right outside and hop in for a quick bag of something salty. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. We aren't a big corporation, just a local spot where you can get your snacks without any fuss. The shelves are usually full, but they empty out pretty quick on the weekends. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us. My family has been doing this kind of thing for a while, and we just like the honest work of it. Pur Road is a good place to be because everyone passes through eventually. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet, but that doesn’t happen too often. We just keep making the namkeen and hope folks keep liking it. It’s simple, it’s what we know, and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up at night.
