Painter Shanker Lal Teli

My name is Shanker Lal Teli and I do painting work here in Bhilwara. You can find me on Malola Road, right near the Bhilwara H O and close to Sukhariya Circle. I have lived in this area for most of my life. People around here know me by name, which is why I put it right on the business sign. I do not have a huge team of people working for me. It is usually just me and maybe one or two others if the job happens to be a large one. We spend our days traveling back and forth between Malola Road and other parts of Bhilwara. It is a lot of prep work to get a wall ready. I always tell people that the actual painting is the easy part; it is the cleaning and the sanding that takes all the real effort. I have got my own set of brushes and my own way of doing things. I am not some big company from out of town that does not know the area. I am just a local guy who knows his way around a paint bucket. Sukhariya Circle is a good landmark I use to tell people where I am, but mostly I am out at someone’s house or a local shop. I have seen a lot of different houses in Bhilwara over the years. Some need a lot of help. I just take it one wall at a time.
