Navratan Chai

Navratan Chai is located inside the New Cloth Market at L28. If you have ever been to the market, you know how busy and crowded it gets with all the traders and shoppers moving around. We are tucked away in our little corner at L28, serving tea to anyone who needs a break from the hustle. It is a small space, mostly taken up by the stove and the benches. We start early in the morning before the shops even open to get everything ready. The market has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. Some days are so busy we barely have time to sit down, while other days are a bit slower when it rains. We do not have any fancy decorations or a big sign. Most people find us because they have been coming here for years. It is a loud place with people shouting orders and cloth being moved around, but it feels like home to us. We just focus on making the tea the way we always have. There are no secrets or special tricks to it. We just use what we have and keep the stove hot. Being in the New Cloth Market means we see a lot of different people every day. It is an interesting way to spend the day, just watching the world go by from our little spot at L28.
