Naveen Kirana Store

Naveen Kirana Store is sitting right near the Hanuman Mandir in Balita village. Kota gets really hot in the summer, so we try to keep the shop shaded as much as possible. We have been here in the Kunadi area for a few years now. Most of our customers are locals from the village who need their daily oil, flour, and spices. It is a simple setup. We have wooden racks that we built ourselves to hold the jars and packets. Sometimes the bells from the temple next door ring while we are helping a customer with their bags. It feels peaceful. We do not have a computer or anything like that, we just write things down in a notebook if we need to remember a price. Balita is a quiet place for the most part. When the kids come home from school, they always crowd around for the small toy packets and chips we keep near the front. We try to keep the milk cold in our small fridge. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use a handheld fan. We are not a big supermarket, just a small kirana place where you can talk to the owner directly. My name is Naveen, and I am usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. If you are visiting the temple, you will see our shop right there. We just try to keep the essentials in stock.
