Lathi Nenawati Classes

Our classes are held in the Lok Jeevan Complex in Bhilwara. We are situated right above the Mahila Urban Cooperative Bank, so if you find the bank, you’ve found us. The Nagori Garden area is always active, so there’s a lot going on outside our windows. It’s a typical commercial building with shops and offices all mixed together. We have a few rooms where we sit and go through the lessons. It’s nothing fancy, just some basic furniture and a lot of notebooks lying around. The stairs can get a bit dusty, and sometimes the hallway light is out, but we don't mind much. We’ve been part of this Bhilwara neighborhood for a good while. People around here know the name and what we do. We spend our afternoons talking to students and explaining things over and over. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. There isn't a lot of polish to the way we run things. We just show up, open the doors, and get to it. Sometimes we have tea brought up from the stall downstairs. The sounds of the bank customers and the traffic from Nagori Garden are the background music to our day. We don't have a big mission statement hanging on the wall. We just focus on the books and the people sitting in front of us. It’s a simple, practical life here in the complex, away from the corporate world.
