We've been working with stone here at Sarmathura for quite some time now. Our place is right on Mahakaleshwar Road in Dholpur. It’s a busy spot but we manage. Jp Stone Industries is basically just a group of us who know how to handle the local stone. People come to us when they need stuff for building or maybe a renovation they're doing at home. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the yard and the machines. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how it is with stone work. We try to keep things moving so customers don't have to wait too long for their orders. The weather in Dholpur can get really hot, which makes the work tough in the afternoons, but we get it done. We’ve seen the road change over the years. More traffic now. Most folks around here know where we are. If you’re heading down Mahakaleshwar Road, you can’t really miss the stacks of stone. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, we'd rather be out back making sure the cuts are right. It’s honest work. Nothing too complicated about it. We just take the raw stone and turn it into what people ask for. Sometimes the pieces aren't exactly what someone expected, so we just fix it. That's how we operate. Just a local business trying to stay busy and keep the machines running.
