Hindustan Zinc Limited

We’ve been operating out of Surana-Bhawan for quite some time now. If you know the Pech Area in Bhilwara, you probably know where the U.Co. Bank is located. We are just right near there. It’s a busy part of town, always something going on in the streets outside. Most of our days are spent handling the paperwork and logistics that come with the zinc business. It’s not flashy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Rajasthan gets pretty hot in the summer, so we mostly stay indoors and focus on the tasks at hand. People around here know us as the local office for Hindustan Zinc Limited. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but that is just how it goes here. We have a small team in this office. Everyone knows each other well. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the spreadsheets and talk to the guys at the other sites. It is a straightforward kind of life. There is no need for fancy words when you are dealing with metals and mining reports. We just keep things moving as best as we can. Being in Bhilwara means being part of a community that understands hard work. We are glad to be tucked away in this corner near the bank. It feels like we have a good rhythm here.
