This is Govind Gift Shop over at Shop No 150 in Azad Nagar. We’ve been in this specific spot for several years now. It’s not a huge place, just a regular storefront along the street. If you walk past the tea stall, you’ll see our sign. We keep a variety of things on the shelves like photo frames, some plastic toys, and those little decorative statues people like for their homes. Most of the time, the shop is quiet until the school nearby lets out, then it gets a bit loud with kids looking at the keychains. I usually spend my time rearranging the cards or making sure the wrapping paper isn't getting wrinkled. Azad Nagar is a decent place to have a business because people are friendly. We know most of our neighbors by name. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a bit, but we manage. My brother helps out on the weekends when it gets busier. We don't have any fancy displays or bright flashing lights. Just the stuff we've collected over the months. I remember when we first got the keys to Shop No 150; the walls were a different color then. Now it feels more like ours. We have a small fan that rattles a bit in the corner, but it keeps us cool enough. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in just to look at the colorful boxes, and I don't mind as long as they don't break anything. It keeps the place feeling alive. If someone needs a gift in a hurry, they usually find something here. It’s just a simple neighborhood shop doing its thing day after day.
