Gmt Travels

Our office is situated on Sahapura Road in Jahazpur, right near the main bus stand. Being so close to where the buses come and go means it is always a bit noisy and dusty around here. We have been in this spot in Bhilwara for some time now. People usually drop in when they are heading to the station or just passing through. The room is small, just enough space for a couple of desks and some chairs for folks to sit while they wait. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at the computer to see what travel options are available. It’s a 311201 area, so we get a lot of locals from the nearby streets. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We don't have any big signs, just the name Gmt Travels on the door. Usually, people know us by word of mouth or they just see us when they go to get a bus. We deal with all sorts of travelers, some going for work and others just visiting relatives. We keep a few registers to write down the bookings because it’s easier than just relying on the computer. It is just a regular shop where we try to get the work done without much fuss. The Sahapura Road gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Sometimes we stand near the door just to watch the buses pull in and out. It’s a simple life here and we just take each day as it comes.
